Jake Tapper

Anchor and chief Washington correspondent Jake Tapper joined CNN in January 2013. He currently hosts a one-hour weekday program, The Lead with Jake Tapper, which debuted in March 2013, and has hosted CNN’s Sunday morning show, State of the Union, since June 2015. Tapper has won a number of awards, including the 2017 Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Television Political Journalism, the Los Angeles Press Club’s Presidents Award for Impact on Media and The Canadian Journalism Foundation’s Tribute to Exemplary Journalism. His debut novel The Hellfire Club will hit the shelves this April.

General admission begins 30 minutes after KLRU member entry. Priority access for members also ends at this time (no jumping the line).
All attendees are still required to RSVP as usual. If the deadline has passed, walk-up admission may be offered on a space-available basis.
Lobby doors will remain closed until published entry times. Lines will form outside on the plaza, rain or shine; please prepare accordingly. KLRU personnel will be available to assist guests with accessibility needs.
